I was just talking to a lady who was listening to Saturday Afternoon Request Show sponsored by NTCL this past weekend March 6 2010. I usually listen every saturday but was bizzy in Ak this weekend! I am writing because I am concerned and also embarassed of the way Nadira Begg speaks and the way she hangs up on people! Her rudeness is starting to take over her show and as she continues I not only seeing it get worse, I understand her point when drunkards and other people who are up to no good call in and understand her frustration but when another person calls and they pause for a second they have no chance she assumes and hang up on them, there was this one weekend when a lady called in and I know she doesn't drink and but has a slurred speech and nadira hung up on her she didn't even get a chance so luckily this lady kept trying and Nadira herself didn't even recognize her second call and the lady politely told her "you cut me off the first time" point blank rudely nadira denied it and asked her well do you have a requests in other words hurry up or I'll cut you off again.
I hope that my point is getting across, I just wanted to point that out, because other people talk about it, they talk about request show on saturday and all you hear is how rude nadira was, and not praising your program, like they should be because I love your programs and just want to inform what people say, I am concerned and embarassed for ther sponsors of this program NTCL I am sure they have heard it themselve and like me embarresed at times the way she presents andf hosts such a popular show. Thank you,
