Sales and Marketing Manager

   
NCS is seeking a highly motivated and creative Sales and Marketing Manager responsible for planning, preparing, presenting and implementing the NCS Marketing Plan as well as designing an advertising strategy for each client. He/she is responsible for developing new streams of revenue from industry, business and other organizations while delivering quality customer service that will result in long term business relationships.

The Manager is also responsible for public relations and promotional activities of NCS and CKLB Radio in order to encourage listenership, sponsorship and advertising to promote the organization’s overall presence in the NWT.

The position requires post-secondary training in marketing and advertising with related experience in radio broadcasting and production. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.

 Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to report, write and produce quality advertisements quickly while effectively delivering a high level product.

Knowledge about the Dene and other Aboriginal cultures and languages of the NWT, and a strong understanding of CRTC regulations and rules governing Radio broadcast operations, would be a definite asset.

This is a full time position, for which NCS offers a salary competitive with Broadcast Industry standards, and commensurate with experience.
